3rd Wedding Anniversary

Today is my 3rd wedding anniversary! My, how time flies. My husband and I met in West Palm Beach, FL from a mutual boss from a former employer. Since we met near the beach, got engaged in the Bahamas, we thought it would be most suitable to get married by the coast. We chose Charleston, SC since I used to go there when I was younger with my family and in college with friends. Charleston is close my family in Greenville, SC and my husband's family in Atlanta, GA. Charleston's summers are brutally hot, muggy and buggy, so we thought an outdoor wedding in early October would be perfect...and it was! My colors were navy and white, and there was a small starfish theme (which some of these things are ironically fave's in interiors).

Our little moment to relax alone before the reception begins.

My new last name initial!

Our colors were navy and white so we had some dancing shoes so no excuses to not be on the dance floor!

My something old... my great grandmother's aquamarine brooch.

Pictures always look so good in black and white, don't they?

Kiss from the hubby!

So, now a few of my favorite navy & white and starfish interior accents I love!

This room is one of my favorites from Phoebe Howard at Max & Co, I have seen this in person and those lacquered walls are amazing!

A great collection of blue & white Chinese vases from Tobi Fairley

Cream couches with navy piping, navy trim on lamps and navy dining chairs from Sherrill Canet.

great monogrammed pillow in navy & white from newlywish
