Lea Michele's Hollywood Bungalow

Domaine Home did a beautiful feature on Lea Michele's bungalow in which they completed a 4 hour styling makeover completed by Estee Stanley and keeping the home "comfy" as requested by Michele. All of her belongings were loaded into storage and the space was restyled using her original pieces as well as new ones.

Mixed seating adds a "funky" touch.

Michele's desk area showcases her SAG & People's Choice Award.

Jen Langston

I came across the great work of Jen Langston based in Charleston, South Carolina. Lagston draws inspiration from the Low country historic properties and its tropical aesthetic, while bringing even more exotic tastes to the mix, thanks to her travels in Europe, Asia, South America, and more. Check out a few of her projects which have a simple, neutral palette offset by great woods, accessories providing pop of color and the architecture itself.

Exotic Blue & White Lake House by Shea Soucie & Martin Horner

I wanted to feature this post since it had a lovely framed flag for Memorial Day! House Beautiful featured this lake house at Lake Michigan designed by Shea Soucie & Martin Horner which features a constant blue and white theme with each room having lots of patterns and great tile work design. The international inspirations can be felt from the designer and homeowners travels from the Balinese wood, Marrakesh tiles, Indian prints and paisleys, down to the vintage American Colonial flag.

The black-granite mantel in the library offers a dramatic contrast to the Moroccan style tile and Balinese feel with the wood.

Hand-carved screens separate the living area from the dining area, which has a view of the lake on three sides.

Pattern play! This fireplace started it all and was the focal point with the Moroccan tiles. Notice the two fabric sofa and contrasting chairs. The marlin was caught by the mother and wife in Anguilla who caught the largest fish on a boat full of 6 boys/men.

Traditional style entrance hall

Clean blue and white kitchen with intricately designed tiles keeping the pattern play consistent from throughout the house.

Two farmhouse sinks have an old-fashioned look and great views of the lake. Don't you want to use one of the blue bottles and write a message to toss in the lake?

Close up of the blue and white kitchen back splash, from Urban Archaeology.

Rope wrapped chandelier against the display of the blue and white collection

Pattern, pattern everywhere in the bedroom.

Larsen's Horizons wallpaper resembles a watercolor in the powder room.

The firebox was built off the floor so you can watch the fire from the bed. Moroccan tile from Urban Archaeology.

A stunning wall of Azul Cielo and Thassos marbles, cut with a water jet into a delicate pattern. the focal point of The pattern is Danse Azul by Artistic Tile. The under mount tub is encased in Calcutta marble.

Walnut built ins have the effect of looking more like furniture.
