Christmas in Newport

These images are from some of the most beautiful and historic mansions in Newport, Rhode Island. They are currently owned by The Preservation Society of Newport County. The Marble House and The Breakers were both Vanderbilt "summer cottages" and The Elms was a summer home owned by coal magnate, Edward Berwind. Hope you enjoy these spectacular decorations!

  1. I love the name of your blog. My husband's German so I couldn't help but click on your link. Your comment is before mine on Emily Clark's blog. :) Merry Christmas!

  2. That ceiling! Those stairs! The magic of this palace alone is transcendental...couple that with some Christmas cheer and it's now gone over the roof! Pure amazingness...oman I just died a little dreaming about holidays in RI ;D

Also- I’m hosting a décor-to-dress giveaway where 3 winners will WIN a fabulous frock of their choice just in time for the holidays! Hope you’ll stop by to enter the contest!

    Peace. Love. LOL!
