Rosemary Sprigs

I wanted to some up with a simple decor idea for your Thanksgiving table and I saw some cute leaf projects and pinecones, but I just adored these ideas using a sprig of Rosemary. Such simple ideas that also smell great. Just like my last post with persimmons I definitely think many of these ideas transition nicely into the holiday season where you can use rosemary sprigs as napkin rings, around the bottom bases of your candle tapers, or like a stirrer in a yummy wintry cocktail.

Thanksgiving Centerpieces

Are you entertaining or being entertained for Thanksgiving? Either way, here are some great ideas for Thanksgiving decor ideas which could couple as a lovely hostess gift for the aggressive chef who insists you "only bring yourself" on Thanksgiving. I love how many of these images use fruits, vegetables and nuts from around the house and some of these can be slightly altered to be continued through the Christmas season. If centerpieces aren't your thing, the next best thing to entertaining is an awesome cocktail, so check out the 3 fall recipe drinks below.

Gather some fall foilage branches from outside, assorted gourds and you can make a festive centerpiece. You could also have this in an entryhall to greet guests, or hang place seating cards, or have little cards with hang tags to allow people to write what they are thankful for, from  Martha Stewart

If a centerpiece is too much, a fun Fall themed drink will do! Have these or bring any of these to your Thanksgiving event and I am sure it will be a hit!

I just had to add this Spiced Apple Hot Toddy.  Recipe from Celebrations at Home.

Pear and Sparkling Cider Cocktails. Recipe here from Martha.

Honeycrisp Apple Sangria. If you bring this, bring a little tin or baggie of the glass rim mix since I am sure that completes the drink. Recipe from Nutmeg Nanny.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
