April Showers

Check out some of my favorite shower images I have collected over the years! One thing is for certain, I think I have a hankering for Calcutta Marble or mixed blue tiles! I didn't even plan on this, but as I looked through my images I saw a theme! What is your favorite type of shower?

Fishy Wallpapers

March is my birthday month and since I am a Pisces I wanted to feature some fun "fishy" wallpapers to spruce up a small space such as a bathroom, office or one wall for accent.

Horizontal Shower

Have you seen the new luxurious horizontal shower from German manufacturer, Dornbracht? The six bars of water provide different shower effects via Ambiance Tuning Technology (now that sounds relaxing) that provide different pre-programmed choreographies in water temperature, intensity and quantity. The luxury stone you lay on can be temperature controlled via remote! Talk about bringing the spa to your home! Does this mean you could potentially sleep an extra 5 minutes in the morning in the shower? What are your thoughts?

Bathrooms with Arches

First of all I would like to thank Barbara at Haus Design for the Versatile Blogger award the other day! Check out her blog for great daily inspirations. She currently is living in Germany so her European travels and vintage finds for her store are always great. Her most recent post was Gorgeous Bathrooms and then it reminded me of this post I had started but never finished...bathrooms with arches. I love great architectural details and especially arches for the doorways, so here are arches taken a step further...in the bathroom!

I love the three arches..one for the bath, one for the walk in shower and one for the vanity area from houzz

Amazing Bathrooms from Elizabeth Dinkel

Elizabeth Dinkel is a West Hollywood designer who has an impressive portfolio and resume. It is no surprise she has been featured in our favorite reads: Trad Home, Elle Decor, Veranda, House Beautiful, etc.

I am captivated the most by her amazing bathrooms. Whether its the luxurious floors and marble, or the way she pairs the perfect wallpaper, mirror and hand towels for a cohesive color palette.

Which one is your favorite?

White and light pink is clean and feminine. I just love the floors.

Another clean look with lots of marble, and small hints of gold. Let's not forget the television by the sink.

Another spacious bathroom with white and minimal pink style. I love the large window that opens.

Love this bathroom with the whimsical fish wallpaper and tissue cover.

A great paisley wallpaper with capiz lighting.

Love how the trim on the linens matches the pineapple in the wallpaper.

Colorful accessories tying the bathroom together

A baby boys bathroom, this is so cute.

A bathroom by the pool, even the towels are cohesive.

Great use of black and white.
