Flag Toothpick Art

I remember loving this flag toothpick wreath from a few years ago! Now that I live in DC I should definitely make it for all of the patriotic holidays-Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, July 4th! This year the wreath can have double duty with the Summer Olympics coming up soon. I thought this is the perfect year to showcase some of my favorite patriotic themes! I scoured the web for some flag toothpick sources for you in case you have a problem finding some.

All it takes is a styrofoam wreath (around 18 inches) and around 600 toothpicks to make your own Flag Toothpick Wreath as featuerd at Good Housekeeping

Cupid's Arrow

Happy Valentine's Day! I thought instead of showing cheesy hearts, I would share something Valentine related with the whimsical arrow and show interior inspirations using arrows! Who knew I would be able to find enough images to do a post on this, Katniss would be so proud.

Awesome Easter Decor

With Easter being a week away now, I wanted to share some of my favorite Easter decor images! I love how simple things we have around the house can be used such as cake stands, egg cups, and moss from outside to create a centerpiece! I have quite a bunny collection that are gifts from my family members at Spring that includes some faux chocolate bunnies, and vintage style bunnies, so it was nice to see how some of these are used in display. How do you decorate for Easter?

Love these amazing basket ideas!
Love the vintage look of these "mercury" Easter eggs

National Margarita Day

Today is National Margarita Day! Who knew? I thought that Cinco De Mayo was National Margarita Day! Since I learned something new today, I wanted to share this with you! (or am I the last person to know this?)

How do you like your margarita? Frozen or on the rocks? Salt or no salt? Flavored or traditional? One of my favorite margarita's is from Taqueria Del Sol here in Atlanta...on the rocks no salt!
