Orange Accents

Since it's starting to feel like Fall, I am seeing a lot more orange now. Whether it's the orange pumpkins, orange pansies and mums or more orange accessories in the store. Here are some orange decor inspirations.

Ferns

Ferns can be found all over in your interiors, from vintage framed prints (My fave!), to fabrics, or even using the fern leaf in a vase, on a table setting or using fern colored paints for your rooms!

Lamp Finials

Lamp finials are an easy, inexpensive and non-committal way to add a pop of color to the room. I love finding unique lamp finials, from a hand carved Chinese inspired bone one I have on a blue and white ginger jar inspired lamp, to a sea urchin I have on a fun kelly green lamp in the bedroom! Striped Walls

I checked out the blog of a new visitor of mine today, Vanessa at Design Dreams Japan and saw that she painted her walls with bold stripes.... a feat I admire! I first read about this DIY tutorial about 2 years ago at Young House Love. I went out and bought the frog tape, already had the paint, but still have not attempted the striped walls look. They look great and I think it would look great in one of my bathrooms in neutral colors. Have you tried striping your walls yet? What 2 colors would you or did you choose?
