I always remember some of the beautiful green driveways in Palm Beach. When you think about how much space a driveway takes up in the yard and many times it's just simple concrete. These "living" driveways take curb appeal to he next level. Not only aestheticlly pleasing, they are functional in that they can reduce heat & glare and can be functional in which they can let rain pass through to the ground underneath reducing runoff that can make your yard dirty and soggy.

The Interiors of Nancy Meyers' Latest Movie, The Intern

Remember the amazing house interiors from Something's Gotta Give, It's Complicated or one of my fave movies The Holiday which had California modern chic and English countryside cottage? All were directed, written and produced by the famous Nancy Meyers whose interior film sets garner as much attention as her movies.

The newly released, The Intern with Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro is the latest Meyer's movie which is set in trendy Brooklyn, NY. Hathhway's character, Jules owns her own beauty e-commerce company is set in a warehouse converted to trendy open office space. Her brownstone was said to be inspired by J. Crew's creative director, Jenna Lyons own Brooklyn browstone.

Meyers wanted to design this home as she thought a mid 30's family with one child may do as with the character and so she purchased some of the furniture from places like Restoration Hardware, Design Within Reach and Room & Board. The brownstone's architectural details are my favorite.

Adam Lippes Plaid Inspiration for Target

Target's next collaboration is a fun Plaid collaboration with Adam Lippes which features great plaids for your home, pets, and clothing.  It goes live this Sunday, September 27th. Lippes began his fashion career with Polo Ralph Lauren and then on to Oscar De La Renta where he grew to be one of the youngest creative fashion directors in the industry.

For his Target collaboration of buffalo check plaid designs he took inspirations from his country home in the Berkshires in South Western Massachusets. The home is named Casa Sandra after his beloved mother who he says taught him his sense of syle.

Chinoiserie Blue & White Pumpkins

Mann, it's been a crazy year for us with travels, getting our house ready to sell, selling our house (which happened very quickly), then packing up, and moving to temporary housing until we find our next home!

So what amazing find did I come across that brought me back to posting? Ahhh, I'm so excited to share these chinoiserie pumpkin designs I saw at Town & Country! You know I LOVE blue and white everything, so I saw these pumpkins and thought what a great idea! I think I want to try to make one, but should I do it on a real one or the "fake" ones? So if you have a down weekend, grab yourself a white pumpkin, and some navy paint pens/Sharpies and draw away!

These are some of the pumpkins available for purchase from Indigo Home at Etsy. She also has some other great chinoiserie items such as adorable blue & white dog bowls (and she has a Cavalier King Charles too!)

That Southern Chick made a few designs. She studied some chinoiserie prints and  took some of her favorite elements and applied them to her pumpkins.
