Awesome Easter Decor

With Easter being a week away now, I wanted to share some of my favorite Easter decor images! I love how simple things we have around the house can be used such as cake stands, egg cups, and moss from outside to create a centerpiece! I have quite a bunny collection that are gifts from my family members at Spring that includes some faux chocolate bunnies, and vintage style bunnies, so it was nice to see how some of these are used in display. How do you decorate for Easter?

Inviting Coastal Entries

What makes an inviting coastal entry? A great front door complete with a awesome door, bright, fun color and great botanicals! Here are some of my fave coastal front doors! 

Bright pink door and large agave plants create a great entry that looks like it leads to a cabana!

Spring has sprung with Tulipieres

Since Spring has sprung, I wanted to share some beautiful tulipieres and a little history. At the height of "tulip mania" in the mid 1600's when 1 tulip bulb cost as much as 1 oxen or 1,000 pounds of cheese, these delicate flowers could not be put in any vase. Holland's tulip fiends collaborated with Delft to produce what we know as the Tulipiere, an uber vase designed to show off a bunch of precious flowers to their best individual advantage...and so the tulipiere was born!

Wendy Valliere of Seldom Scene Interiors

Happy Monday! I wanted to share the lovely work of New England designer Wendy Valliere of Seldom Scene Interiors and who is frequently featured in New England Home mag. She first caught my eye by her amazing work in a Palm Beach house which used white and blue colors with accents of red and coral which is mostly featured here except towards the end. She uses bold colors, wallpapered walls and ceilings, bold fabrics and prints. Hope you enjoy her work as much as I do.

Love how the white linens pop against the mix of blue and white patterns
